Fundraising Event in support of Maggies
UCAN is delighted to support Maggie’s Men’s Night (a Q&A with Willie Miller, Craig Brown and Dave Macdermid) on Thursday 23rd May, 6pm in the Maggie’s Centre. Tickets cost £20 and the format of the evening is set out below.

Evening Format
6pm start for Stovies and Beer or soft drink on entrance
Programme and raffle tickets at entrance (further raffle ticket purchase opportunity at the break)
Speakers in order of appearance:
6.15 Kevin Mathieson – Welcome and intro to evening
6.25 Cliff Baxter – Centre visitor inspirational testimonial on the benefits of Maggie’s
6.45 Andy Hall – Renowned Photographer– 20 minute talk on his book (which will also
be for sale) “Aberdeenshire a new perspective” (Andy will be happy to sign books
during the break with all proceeds donated to Maggie’s)
7.10 Dr Tharaka Gunarathne-Communication and leadership trainer – Motivational talk
on how to: Maximise Your Memory”
8pm A chance to buy Andy Hall signed books, raffles and further drinks before:
8.15 Q&A Willie Miller, Craig Brown & Dave Macdermid – questions submitted by the
audience to two of Scotland’s most famous footballing names!
9.30 Kevin to close evening unless we go to extra time.
