Fundraising event: Ben Nevis Trek
Date: Saturday 27th June 2020
Come join us for our Ben Nevis Trek, and climb to the highest point in the UK! Enjoy this fantastic experience, while supporting our 2 amazing charities UCAN Urological Cancer CharityFriends of The Neuro Ward
What To Expect:
Ben Nevis sits aside the munros and lochs of the stunning Scottish Highlands near Fort William. Standing at 1,343 meters above sea level , Ben Nevis is the highest point in the UK. On reaching the summit you can expect spectacular views of the peaks and valleys below, as well as the ruins of the observatory at the top of the mountain.
Suitability & The Route:
A novice walker, with a good level of fitness and some training will enjoy the challenge. Our chosen route is the Mountain Track (Also known as the Pony Track or Tourist Route) as this is the simplest and most popular route of ascent. The normal time taken to climb to the top by this route is three to five hours. Coming down is much faster, between one and a half to two and a half hours.

10.00 Arrive Ben Nevis
10.30 We make our way up
