Emergency admissions

The department also provides a comprehensive emergency urology service for the region, with 24-hour access to the emergency theatres and which is supported by the interventional radiology department for percutaneous procedures. The urology on-call team consists of a consultant, speciality trainee and a Foundation Year 2 doctor based on Ward 209.
