Big Bash Scotland auction a must for Man City fans
Next month sees the stars of Emmerdale return to the north-east for the Big Bash Scotland (formerly the Emmerdale Extravaganza) to raise money for local urological cancer charity UCAN through a variety of activities including the infamous Wing Walk, as well as football, golf and cricket featuring the soap’s cast.
The Big Bash Ball, on Saturday June 10th, taking place at Aberdeen’s Chester Hotel, has some incredible items up for auction, including a once in a lifetime opportunity if you happen to be a Manchester City fan.
Taking place at the same time as City will be potentially contesting the Champions League final against Inter Milan in Istanbul as they bid for that historic treble, one lucky fan will have the opportunity to attend a match and enjoy hospitality at the Etihad Stadium next season (excepting Liverpool and Manchester United).
Courtesy of former prostate cancer patient and England and City legend Mike Summerbee, the successful bidder and a friend will be met by Mike at the Stadium, enjoy food and refreshments both pre and post-match, watch the game from the Colin Bell Stand while the package will also include flights courtesy of Loganair and accommodation at the Leonardo Hotel, Manchester.

All funds raised will be contributing to UCAN’s plans to bring a one stop cancer diagnostic centre to Aberdeen to ensure faster diagnosis and treatment for cancer patients.
